Bethan Rowe

I have over 18 years’ experience working in both NHS and private mental health services, therapeutically supporting people to manage their mental health difficulties.

Within my current role in the NHS, I work with people with persistent physical health problems and long-term mental health difficulties to help them to learn different ways to cope with their physical symptoms and manage their experience of emotions.

I have worked with all adult age groups and with various presenting difficulties including trauma and PTSD, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, personality difficulties and with people with long-term health conditions which may be impacting on their mood.

I am passionate about working with people who are neurodiverse, often helping people to make sense of their world and their experiences. This includes supporting people who are diagnosed, as well as supporting people who do not have a formal diagnosis.

If required, I can draw on other therapeutic approaches including Dialectial Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Interpersonal Therapy (PIT) and Mindfulness based approaches and integrate them into our therapy sessions.
